Visit by the Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy
On Thursday 23rd October, a delegation including the Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Mr. Tord Lien, visited ClampOn.
The objective of the meeting was for the Minister to learn about how ClampOn has developed into a global key player in offshore and subsea instrumentation, and what challenges a smaller oil service company faces in today's business climate. Rystad Energy was also here, and presented a summary of its new report on the global demand for oil and gas related services.
After the meeting and the release of the report, Minister Tord Lien toured the facilities, seeing at first hand how ClampOn develops, engineers and manufactures advanced ultrasonic instruments.
