ClampOn participated at the Subsea Instrument Interface Standarization JIP’s “plugfest” in Cambridge this April with our Corrosion-Erosion Monitor. The instrument passed the test procedure, communicating with control systems from Aker Solutions, FMC, GE, OneSubsea and Proserv, without any problems.

ClampOn has been an active member of SIIS all through the development of the CANbus-based level 2 interface. Our Head of IT, Mads Toppe, joined the group’s steering committee in 2013 when focus shifted to a recommended practice for an Ethernet-based interface – “SIIS Level 3”.
The JIP is now aiming to finalize its work by the end of this year. ClampOn is proud to have been a part of this industry project, and to have standardized our instruments accordingly.
